De La Pera

As a Patrón Partner, I’ve teamed up with Patrón to celebrate the launch of the new Sherry Cask Aged Añejo Tequila— it’s the perfect complement for food with its aroma of fresh apricots, sun-dried juicy medjool dates and luscious pear. My dish of Roasted Pear and Iberico Ham with Blue Cheese, Hazelnut and Hot Honey is a delicious match. The sweetness of the pear, the saltiness of ham along with tangy blue cheese and the gentle heat from the hot honey is so delicious and the perfect appetizer or finish to a meal— and, is a delicious match with De La Pera, a drink with pear liquor and a touch of bitters.
