Color Crush: Gold Standard

All that glitters is bold. Gold is many things, amongst them one of the most coveted precious metals in the world. Anything that is enrobed in its lustrous shimmer symbolizes the ultimate in achievement. Gold medals? Yup. The Oscar? Gold. Now, of course too much of a gold thing can take you to tacky territory quite quickly, so with this hue keep its use judicious. I’ve often dipped my toe in the golden pond— for one of my first collections I coated sweaters in gold leaf that would intentionally crack as the knit underneath stretched. It was effortless, it was luxe— a combo I always recommend with gold. That Midas touch can be yours in almost anything your heart desires.
